Donald Trump is back on Twitter … sort of. Last night, after revealing that the Department of Justice had indicted him on several as-yet unnamed charges, Trump published a four-minute video response through his campaign’s fast-response Twitter account.

Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, is building on his reputation as a tenacious legislator who aggressively chases information and holds government officials to task. Spearheaded by Jordan, the committee is looking into FBI actions that Republicans contend are misdeeds and improper conduct aimed at derailing Donald Trump’s campaigns for president.

It's take two for Chris Christie as the former two-term New Jersey governor officially launches his second White House bid, joining a crowded field of presidential hopefuls vying for the 2024 Republican nomination. Christie formally declared his candidacy Tuesday evening during a town hall event at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, the state with the first presidential primary.

When Trump burst on the political scene, his smashmouth style was, shall we say, off-putting. Dan Bongino, also from Queens, told us this was just the normal style of speech in that area. And many of us voted for the Donald, knowing that the alternative was simply intolerable. We weren’t sure what he would do, but his opponent was guaranteed to do bad things.

Rep. Ken Buck, R-Colo., told CNN's "State of the Union" on Sunday that 2024 GOP presidential candidates trying to "out-Trump" former President Donald Trump should instead stick to whatever their strong suits are. "You attended an event for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis here in Washington in April," host Dana Bash said to Buck. "You sat next to him on the House Judiciary Committee when he was in the House. What do you think of his campaign so far? Do you have advice for him?"

Since Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis officially jumped into the 2024 GOP presidential primary, the Republican Twittersphere has devolved into a giant cluster of insanity. Take a trip to your favorite right-wing account, and you’re likely to find an untold number of tweets trashing either former President Donald Trump or DeSantis, accompanied by a lengthy explanation of why his or her preferred candidate will be the one to take down Joe Biden in the 2024 general election.

Imagine waking up tomorrow to discover that MLB commissioner Rob Manfeld made another rule change to America’s pastime: All performance-enhancing drugs are legal. Imagine the increases in strength, speed, and stamina that baseball would have to contend with as players from every team experimented with pharmaceutical cocktails to give them the ultimate advantage.

Former President Donald Trump appeared before an enthusiastic crowd Thursday at a Fox News Town Hall hosted by commentator Sean Hannity. The two discussed a variety of topics, but the exchange that stands out is Trump’s vow to turn things around in this country within six months if elected.

On Thursday night, a federal judge in Florida recused himself from a case filed last month by Disney against Governor Ron DeSantis, while also criticizing the governor’s lawyers for “rank judge shopping.” Disney alleges Gov. DeSantis and a board that oversees government services at Disney World have engaged in “a targeted campaign of government retaliation.”

While the 2024 GOP primary field increasingly grows, there are still several Republicans that will likely jump in soon. North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Vice President Mike Pence are expected to launch presidential campaigns soon, while others are still teasing a bid. “I think we’ll lose if Trump’s a nominee,” Christie said in late April. “That’s why I intend to be the nominee.”
