In a clear contrast from his Democrat rival and other possible Republican contenders for the presidency, Donald Trump announced his 2024 presidential bid and warned that the Biden administration is leading America to the “brink of nuclear war.”
In a speech from his Mar-a-Lago home in Palm Beach on Tuesday night, the former President uncharacteristically stayed on message and steered clear of making any stolen election claims.
He also addressed the war in Ukraine, setting him apart from both Democrats and Republicans who seem more than willing to push America toward a nuclear conflict by funding their war against Russia.
Trump first accused President Biden of embarrassing the U.S. with his disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan in August of 2021, then for “leading us to the brink of nuclear war” with Russia.
