A new report indicates aides to President Biden prefer he use a fake White House stage for events rather than the Oval Office because it can be equipped with an easily read permanent teleprompter.

The revelation comes as part of a Politico report discussing the prospects of a Biden-Trump rematch in 2024.

The outlet points out an intricate scenario in which both Biden and the former President are playing off of each other when it comes to the next presidential campaign. Both have indicated they will run but both, according to Politico, may not if the other man opts out.

Quite the interesting game theory scenario.

They note that Biden has to say he is running or risk becoming a lame duck. But they add aides believe he can “overcome intraparty concerns about his age — on Election Day 2024 he will be just shy of 82 — and shaky poll numbers.”
