On Mondy night, President Joe Biden claimed the Secret Service doesn’t let him interact with crowds anymore because it is “too dangerous.”
After returning from a campaign stop with Vice President Kamala Harris in Pennsylvania, a reporter asked the octogenarian how it felt to be on the stump again, to which Biden responded, “Feels good, except I’m not able to go out into crowds anymore, the Secret Service doesn’t let me.”
The reporter asked why and Biden replied, "They say it's too dangerous. No one gets to go out.”
The Secret Service has been increasing its protective details following the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump in July.
Throughout his time in the Oval Office, Biden has lamented needing permission from his handlers on the most basic of tasks, including taking questions, and that many have speculated if he is even in charge of his own administration.
