An out-of-control passenger onboard an American Airlines flight from Milwaukee to Dallas on Tuesday allegedly charged a flight attendant and tried to open a plane door in midair — forcing fellow passengers to restrain him with duct tape.
The man got up from his seat on Flight 1915 and told a flight attendant that he needed to get off the plane, according to a police report obtained by local ABC affiliate station WFAA.
When the crew member told him that wasn’t possible, he grew louder and angrier and then rushed the staffer to try to reach the cabin door, the report states.
The flight attendant was able to stop him, and three passengers jumped up to help control the unruly passenger, according to the document.
