Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed legislation Monday that authorizes the use of the death penalty on convicted sex abusers of children. The new law, which goes into effect Oct. 1, allows the Sunshine State to seek capital punishment when an adult is convicted of sexual battery of a child under 12.

Joe Biden has a growing problem with Hispanic voters. During the 2022 midterms, one of the big stories was the increasing support for Republicans among Hispanic voters. It looks as though that is still happening and could hurt Biden in 2024.

Politicians’ actions don’t always match their words. This appears especially true of today’s Democrats. On the campaign trail and while in public office, the party’s leaders — from President Biden on down — criticize the wealthy and promise to help the poor. While most Democrats want to raise taxes on businesses and people with high incomes, the policies they’ve introduced over the past few years heavily favor and subsidize these same groups. Democrats are fast becoming the party of handouts to the rich.

GOP Senator Ron Johnson accused Secretary of State Antony Blinken of telling “boldface” lies when he testified under oath to Congress in 2020 that he never emailed Hunter Biden.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) appeared on Fox News with Maria Bartiromo Sunday to blast President Biden’s unwillingness to negotiate on the House Republicans’ recent budget proposal which addresses the debt ceiling. Called the “Limit, Save, Grow” Act, the measure would raise the cap by $1.5 trillion while cutting back spending to FY 2022 levels.

A group of House Democrats was expelled on April 27 while protesting as Senate Republicans voted to block a joint resolution to remove the deadline for the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) to the U.S. Constitution.

Former President Donald Trump focused on attacking President Joe Biden during his first stop in New Hampshire since announcing his third presidential bid. He warned Thursday about what he believes would happen under a possible second term for his opponent.

Biden and his backers lied to Americans that the Hunter Biden laptop was “Russian disinformation.” While that might merely qualify as dirty politics, our government’s assistance in burying the scandal constituted election interference.

Former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake recently ran into MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski at a Florida airport.

President Trump sat down with Fox News host Mark Levin during a recent airing of “Life, Liberty & Levin.” During one point of the interview, Levin talked about Trump’s new book called “Letters to Trump”. Levin mentioned that one of the letters in the book is from former US Senator of Massachusetts the late Ted Kennedy.
