New polling between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris shows the race is much tighter in battleground states from when President Joe Biden was still on the ticket.

According to a poll by CBS News/You Gov, Harris and Trump are tied in the collective battleground states. Harris is also performing slightly better than Trump nationally, with a narrow lead of one point, 50 percent to 49 percent. When third-party candidates are included, Harris’ lead extends to two points

In the battleground states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Arizona, Trump and Harris are tied. Trump holds a one-point lead in Wisconsin and a three-point lead in both Georgia and North Carolina. In Nevada, a state that has leaned blue in recent elections but where Trump was polling well against Biden, Harris has a two-point lead.
