8 million illegal immigrants poured into US after ‘border czar’ Kamala told them ‘do not come’

In June 2021, freshly-appointed border czar Kamala Harris sent a simple message to would-be illegal immigrants, telling them, "do not come" to the US. That appeal appears to have fallen on deaf ears, as over the following three years, a record 8 million people from all over the world have unlawfully crossed into the United States.

Despite only visiting the border once during her time as vice president in June 2021, Harris has claimed that the border is "secure" multiple times. As the New York Post reports, however, data and accounts from border patrol agents on the ground have painted a different picture, one that reveals just how porous the border has become under the watch of the Biden administration.

"She hasn't literally done anything," one agent told the outlet. "She came to the border once and we sanitized all the aliens out of there to make it look good."

Former acting Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Mark Morgan described Harris' job at the border as a "complete failure," suggesting "the data is irrefutable" that she has "overseen the worst, unmitigated border security crisis in our lifetime." He added that her lack of action "has negatively impacted every aspect of our country's safety and national security."
